Durant and Durant Motors purchased the Locomobile Company after the original company filed for bankruptcy. The vehicles of Locomobile continued to be manufactured at their Bridgeport, Connecticut factory location still manufacturing a high end automobile to the upper echelon of the automotive buying customers.
