Durant Star Owners Club License Plate Topper was offered to club members of the Durant Star Owners Club around 1970. Originally designed by club founder Gary Kauffman and manufactured by the High School shop teacher this item was in limited production of approximately 150 units and offered to club members. The Durant Star Owners Club was the predecessor to the Durant Family Registry and the Durant Motors Automobile Club serving owners of Durant automobiles and it's associate automobile makes. The Durant Star Owners Club as in operation from 1969 to 1974.
