Description:
In 1976 the Durant Family Registry predecessor to the Durant Motors Automobile Club held a contest among members to design and submit for a membership vote a new design for a patch to be used as a logo for the new Durant Family Registry. Member Ted Warren of Valley City, North Dakota won the contest with the best design. Patches originally sold for $2.50 each. This patch was used from 1977 up until 1998.
